Polyurethane Fine Screen Panels: Dimensions to Confirm Before Replacement

A nominal panel size is only the starting point. A replacement fine screen must match the mounting geometry and the agreed drawing, as well as the required opening.

Overall size and mounting references

Record length and width with units and tolerances. Identify whether a dimension describes the body, the outside of the hooks or a nominal catalogue size. Supply a drawing revision or photographs with a scale; do not infer compatibility from a machine name alone.

Hook profile and support layout

Check the hook cross-section, height, engagement and direction. Mark the support locations and reinforcement on the drawing. A panel that has the right overall dimensions can still fit incorrectly if its fastening profile differs.

Read the drawing dimensions, not just the title

The BENAILI example shown below is labelled 1042 × 700 mm with 1.25 mm slots. Its main length dimension is 1040 +2/0 mm. That distinction must be resolved against the approved drawing, rather than treating 1042 mm as an exact measurement for every panel.

Confirm the complete replacement specification

Agree slot size, panel thickness, tolerances, material requirements and marking together. BENAILI supplies independent replacement panels; any fit for Derrick or similar equipment must be checked from the customer drawing or sample before production.
