Custom Polyurethane Screen Panels: From Drawing to Trial Order

A build-to-drawing order works best when fit, opening and acceptance requirements are settled before a trial panel is produced. This checklist helps equipment makers and parts suppliers prepare an inquiry.

Confirm the drawing and specification

Provide panel and hook dimensions, support locations, nominal slots, tolerances and quantity. Mark the drawing revision and agree any missing dimensions. For regular sizes, an existing BENAILI drawing can be reviewed; a new size may require a drawing prepared from customer mounting data.

Review tooling and trial scope

Confirm whether the requested panel and opening combination can use existing tooling or needs new tooling. Agree the trial quantity, material requirements, inspection scope and schedule. Lead time depends on tooling and confirmed requirements; a fixed universal delivery period is not assumed.

Inspect before installation testing

Check dimensions, hook profile and sampled openings against the approved specification. Confirm material hardness only to the agreed order requirement. Keep the inspection record together with the drawing revision so the trial results relate to a known panel configuration.

Approve marking, packing and the next batch

Agree the customer logo or specification mark before laser marking. Review protective packing and shipping requirements. After installation, record fit and screening observations before approving a batch. BENAILI supplies independent replacements; equipment-brand compatibility and customer branding require explicit confirmation.
